A Wheelchair User's Perspective, Accessible and Responsive!

The wheelchair-accessible room featured a bed, desk, microwave, and mini refrigerator, all designed with accessibility in mind. The bathroom included a water-resistant and tactile floor, a thoughtful touch. I especially appreciated the open floor design under the beds, useful for storing a hoyer lift. The hotel staff was responsive, adjusting the towel height to meet my needs. I found this really helpful!!!

The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a large television that offered both French and English channels. The open floor design under the beds allowed for extra space, a feature very important for wheelchair users and hoyer lift usage.

Breakfast was included for three hours daily and featured tasty scrambled eggs and poppyseed coffee loaf. The food was AMAZING!!! The hours were convenient and allowed for a relaxed start to the day, very nice.

The hotel included a business center, gym, and parking facilities. These added convenience to my stay. The tactile layered ramp and automatic roll-in wide doorway made the entrance accessible and easy to navigate, important with mobility issues.

my king room was very clean and well kept. the breakfast included hot options each morning. the hotel also offered quick and easy check-in services.
the hotel lacked laundry facilities, which required a walk to a laundromat.

the room had a comfortable king-sized bed and blackout window shades, which really helped with sleeping. it also contained a mini-fridge and a microwave, so i could store and heat snacks and leftovers. shelf space was plenty.

the front desk staff, including joseph m, was helpful and courteous when i interacted with them. staff members were quick to address inquiries and provide assistance. i found this to be a valuable asset.
